Advanced Practice Practitioner Endocrinology Provider Services Full-time 1st shift Monday- Friday 8am-5pm Summary Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty staff model HMO, is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner with Endocrinology experience. The Advanced Practice Provider shall render necessary and appropriate endocrinology services, within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner's training and experience. Responsibilities and expectations to include the following: * Experience in managing difficult Diabetic cases, pumps and keeping current on the latest medications and devices for Diabetes * Deliver patient-centered, compassionate care * Continuously enhance clinical knowledge * Collaborate with Endocrinologist, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care * Complete documentation, billing, and coding as required by healthcare regulations and standards * Attend staff meetings, training, and continuing education as required * Clear English communication skills, written and oral * Great Customer Service and Communication skills with patients and their Primary Care Physicians * Epic EMR Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited program, APRN, NP or PA program * Advanced Practitioner Florida Licensure * 2 years' AP post licensing experience in Endocrinology Compensation Details * Competitive salary * Annual bonus opportunity * 401(K) Tax Deferred Plan 4% Company match in 12 months * Company Paid HMO Health Benefits for provider & eligible dependents * Group Term Life * Group Disability Long Term * * Malpractice Insurance * Paid Time Off * Paid Holidays * CME Allowance & Days * Licenses Reimbursed
