Think is seeking an Interim General Manager in Milwaukee, WI to lead the growth of an Americas business within a global manufacturing and food ingredients organization. This role calls for an entrepreneurial, highly autonomous leader who can act as a true regional owner, driving revenue growth, improving margins, and building the organization while partnering with corporate teams on strategy and planned investments. This is a build-and-scale opportunity, not a turnaround. Key Responsibilities
- Own full P&L responsibility for the Americas region, with accountability for revenue growth, margin expansion, and profitability.
- Act as a regional entrepreneur, driving commercial acceleration across existing and new markets in North America and Latin America.
- Develop and execute a mid- to long-term growth strategy aligned with ambitious EBITDA targets.
- Lead pricing strategy, portfolio optimization, and customer mix improvement to address margin and scale challenges.
- Build and structure the regional organization, establishing clear ownership, accountability, and productivity across functions.
- Partner with corporate teams (strategy, innovation, technical support, and operations) while operating with a high degree of independence.
- Support and execute planned industrial and capital investment initiatives, including equipment expansion and footprint development.
- Strengthen go-to-market execution through a "hunter" mindset, expanding key customer relationships and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Establish disciplined operating rhythms, performance tracking, and decision-making frameworks appropriate for a scaling business.
- Serve as the senior regional leader and primary interface between the Americas organization and global leadership.
Experience & Background
- Senior leadership experience as a General Manager, Managing Director, or equivalent with full P&L ownership.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling businesses rather than turnaround or restructuring-only roles.
- Background in food ingredients, food & beverage, manufacturing, or adjacent sectors.
- Strong commercial orientation with experience driving growth, pricing strategy, and margin improvement.
- Exposure to global or multinational organizations, with the ability to balance autonomy and light governance.
- Experience with structured commercial or leadership development environments within large consumer or food organizations is strongly preferred.
