We are seeking an Entry-Level Bridge Engineer to join our growing Transportation/Structural team in New England. This role is ideal for a motivated early-career engineer who is interested in bridge design, inspection, and rehabilitation projects and is eager to build a strong technical foundation while working alongside experienced bridge engineers.
You will support a variety of state and local transportation projects, gaining hands-on experience with bridge analysis, design, and plan development while developing proficiency in industry-standard software and design codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the analysis and design of highway and pedestrian bridges, culverts, and other transportation structures
  • Support bridge rehabilitation, replacement, and inspection projects
  • Prepare design calculations, technical memoranda, and construction documents
  • Develop plans and details using AutoCAD and MicroStation/OpenBridge
  • Perform structural modeling and analysis under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Coordinate with project team members and assist with quality control reviews
  • Learn and apply applicable AASHTO, state DOT, and industry design standards


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)
  • 0-2 years of relevant structural or bridge engineering experience (internships/co-op experience will be considered)
  • Strong interest in bridge and transportation structures
  • Familiarity with engineering software such as:

    • AutoCAD
    • MicroStation / OpenBridge
    • LEAP Steel and/or LEAP Concrete
    • BrR / BrD
    • MIDAS (or similar structural analysis software)


  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skill
