  A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or a related technical field is preferred and highly valued.

  At least 5years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance, repair, or a closely related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Flexibility to work various shifts and schedules, accommodating the needs of a 24/7 operational environment when necessary.

  5+ years of heavy equipment technician experience required

  
  
• 
  

  Experience working withKomatsu equipment preferred

  Advanced-level technicians (10+ years of experience) strongly preferred

• Mandatory certification to operate forklifts and/or manlifts ensures safe handling of equipment during repair processes.
• Certifications such as MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) and respirator training may be required to comply with workplace safety standards.
• Candidates must possess a basic mechanics toolset to perform daily duties effectively.
• A valid driver's license is required to facilitate travel between sites or job locations as needed.
