Overview

Primary responsibility is to manage, direct and lead the 84 Components sales function, including training, mentoring and directing the sales associates, growing revenue and customer acquisition. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to explain tasks clearly and understand the needs of the market. This position is responsible for assessing employees' productivity and efficiency, handling employee complaints and grievances, disciplining employees, directing and planning sales functions. Has authority to hire, fire and/or recommend the hiring or firing of sales associates and personnel.


Responsibilities

Customarily and regularly provides leadership, management and direction to the sales team.

Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met.

Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets

Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts

Assigns territories and sets quotas for sales teams

Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs

Exercises discretion and independent judgment to resolve customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations

Collaborates with senior leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies

Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses

Acts as company representative at trade association meetings


Qualifications

Designing sales plan for areas including setting sales quotas

Directing store managers on sales issues

Developing relationships with new and existing customers

Reviewing the bid process

Interview, hire and train new sales associatesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite
