YOU

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials are processed accurately and efficiently. They also perform regular cycle counts to maintain precise inventory records, reconcile discrepancies, and support smooth warehouse operations. While these are the primary duties, employees may occasionally be assigned other tasks to meet business needs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)

Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and prepare all necessary documentation. Regular cycle counts will be required to ensure inventory accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and update records in the inventory management system. Maintaining precise stock levels will be required by monitoring product movement and reporting variances. The position will also be required to complete shipping logs, receiving reports, inventory adjustment forms, collaborate closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow, and follow all company policies and safety procedures during warehouse activities. (70%)

Create equipment specific labeling and stickers (10%)

Program HMI for equipment needs (10%)

Employees will be asked to perform other duties as assigned, in support of business needs and organizational goals. (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year required of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Accountability & Dependability: ability to be at work on time, and follow instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: able to apply basic Algebra and Geometry concepts. Able to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimal equivalents.
  • Reading Comprehension: able to read and write simple correspondence and able to follow instructions.
  • Analysis/Reasoning: able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Communication: able to communicate one-on-one and in small group settings.
  • Attention to Detail: ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment and needs to constantly position self to maintain the operation of equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level is loud. The job may risk exposure to dust, heat and/or cold, wet or humid conditions.

This position does not require travel.

Work Status & Location

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Fulton, MO.

Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay

$21.59 - $32.40 / hour
