Position Title: Scientist

Work Location: Irvine, CA 92612

Assignment Duration: 12 Months

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary: This is a lab-intensive role focused on sterile liquid drug product formulation and manufacturing process development, especially in the eye care space.

Key Responsibilities:

* The role combines both - candidates will generate lab data, analyze it, and present findings to the supervisor/team.

Qualification & Experience:

* Strong hands-on experience in sterile liquid formulation development (solutions, emulsions, suspensions)

* Familiarity with sterilization techniques (filtration preferred, autoclaving is a plus)

* Experience with characterization techniques such as:

* pH, osmolality, viscosity/rheology, turbidity, particle size, physical appearance

* Ability to design experiments independently with minimal guidance

* Strong documentation skills (electronic lab notebooks) and ability to deliver accurate data on time

* Good communication skills (written and verbal) + teamwork mindset

* HPLC/UPLC experience is a plus, not mandatory (UV/PDA/RI all nice-to-have)

* Ability to analyze data and support technical summaries/reports

* Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel); basic statistics knowledge preferred

*Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree + 3-5 years relevant industry experience, OR

* Master's degree + 2 years relevant industry experience

* Preference for candidates with industry experience (pure academic-only profiles are not preferred)
