What You'll Be Doing:


In this role, the intern will support the Strategic Planning & Business Development team during Summer 2026. This internship provides handson experience in market analysis and strategic planning within the pharmaceutical industry. Interns will gain exposure to business development frameworks in a biotech environment, learn how to assess market dynamics and competitive positioning in specialty pharma, and build skills in data analysis, strategic thinking, and executivelevel communication.


Key Activities:


  • Landscape assessments for cardiovascular (CV) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) therapeutic areas.
  • Competitive analysis and market trend evaluation.
  • Global expansion assessments for MannKind's commercial products.
  • Development of strategic insights and business cases for BD initiatives.
  • Projects will be assigned based on business priorities and intern skill set.


What You Bring to the Table:


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Commit to working 40 hours per week for the full 10 weeks without vacation.


Bonus Points If You Have:


  • Preferably within 1-2 years of graduation
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

When and Where You'll Shine:


  • Full-time: Schedule (Onsite Mon-Thu, Remote Fri)
  • Location: Danbury
  • Dates of Program: June 15 to August 20, 2026
  • A reliable commute or the intention to find temporary housing before starting the internship is required.
