Position Details:

1st Shift Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm

Your Expertise:



  • 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace environment
  • Previous experience performing dimensional and visual inspection in an aerospace environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and customer specifications
  • Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools
  • A strong background in manufacturing and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required
  • Previous experience performing incoming inspection in an aerospace environment (Highly desirable)
  • Experience reviewing supplier certification paperwork for conformance including, but not limited to, validating material properties, dimensional results, and compliance to customer specifications.
  • Experience performing XRF verification of material and interpreting results (Highly desirable).
  • Experience performing and documenting First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102.
  • Proficient computer skills including a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Your Challenge:



  • Incoming inspection of castings, forgings, raw material, and semi-finished/ finished aerospace components,
  • Sample inspect parts for conformance and review supplier certificates and test reports for conformance.
  • Inspection includes visual and dimensional using required gaging and measuring equipment
  • Interpret operation sheets and blueprints meet customer criteria for an acceptable part
  • Ensure that all parts being inspected meet criteria for an acceptable part
  • If a part is defective or needs re-work, Inspector must complete required paperwork associated with this task



Education Requirements:



  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required
