We are seeking an Intermediate Mission Engineer to support the U.S. Navy at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), part of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). NSWCDD serves as the Navy's leading architect for complex naval warfare systems, delivering advanced weapon systems through research, development, testing, systems engineering, and integration in support of the Navy, Joint Forces, and the Nation. The organization focuses on innovation in areas such as directed energy, digital engineering, and advanced combat systems to deliver effective, affordable solutions for the future fleet. Position Description: This role supports a Combat Systems Engineering-focused contract and is part of a 17-person Mission Engineering team within a larger group of approximately 100 contractors. Work Location and Telework: The primary work location is Dahlgren, Virginia. Candidates may be required to work on-site or near the base up to five (5) days per week, depending on customer needs. Limited telework or work from a contractor location may be available with government approval. Responsibilities and Duties: The Intermediate Mission Engineer will support Combat Systems and Mission Engineering activities in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Guide, providing systems engineering support across the full lifecycle of naval warfare systems.
