As a Security Guard - Chemical Plant Patrol in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the chemical or petrochemical location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.
• Monitor for potential hazards and report any unusual conditions or concerns encountered during patrols.
• Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related operations and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
