As a Screener with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to assist with security-related needs, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Screen individuals entering the location by following established protocols, which may include temperature checks, health questionnaires, and verifying access authorizations.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with visitor management policies.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with visitors, patients, staff, and/or emergency responders as necessary.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Vaccines are required for work in hospital environments.
• Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
• Experience restraining individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
