Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst Supply Chain- Breadbox role is multi-faceted position developed to manage the end-to-end supply chain related to the Breadbox program.This includes, but not limited to, planning and creating purchase orders, customer operations, and inventory control. The role is also a key contributor with implementing and maintaining supply chain operational and strategic solutions for Breadbox. There is a large emphasis on organization, tracking, data management/reconciliation, and customer order management.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Operational Duties (90%):
Planning and Inbound Order Management and Execution:
  • Planning production orders based on customer demand and target days on hand (inventory model)
  • Create production orders across multiple systems (Oracle and BUSS/CDB)
  • Ensure 3PL has physically received inbound orders accurately and coordinate cross functionally with 3PL on any order issues (expiration dates, shortages/overages, and damages)
  • Receive inbound POs timely in Oracle, ensuring accuracy and appropriate supporting documentation is provided while reconciling any variance between PO and receipt
  • Order packaging materials and develop replenishment process with Supply Chain manager - Breadbox and Procurement
Customer Order Management:
  • Receive customer orders and enter orders into Oracle
  • Review customer orders to ensure order compliance (lead times, order min/max)
  • Update customer orders as necessary (Order date and quantity changes), work cross functionally with sales as needed and communicate order discrepancies and changes
  • Validate orders are accurately recorded and planned for in 3PL (WMS), OTM and tendered for delivery
  • Review inventory availability and adjust customer orders accordingly for fulfillment (allocating cuts to customer orders). Communicate to Sales, Supply Chain, and customer
  • Ensure orders are physically shipped timely and transacted in the systems to accurately reflect shipments (ship confirmation and follow-through with customer invoicing)
  • Manage and process customer order OS&D process (overages/shortages and deductions)
Inventory Management:
  • Manage inventory in eaches and cases
  • Reconcile invoices from vendors (bakery and packaging)
  • Liaison with 3PLs to ensure compliance with requirements (inventory conversions, FEFO, QFS, Tracking, Packaging)
Supply Chain Reporting and Analysis (10%):
  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain Breadbox supply chain inventory-related and financial metrics with the Supply Chain Manager- Breadbox that includes but is not limited to:
  • Damages from inbound PO (bakery) to charge inventory back to supplier
  • 3PL damages, packing waste, or rotation issues
  • Inventory on hand report
  • Inbound and outbound volumes and order fulfillment

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's Degree required in supply chain or business-related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' working experience preferrable
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Strong communication - written and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Working knowledge of consumer, food manufacturing and supply chain
  • Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel, Power Point, Intermediate Access).
