Responsible to provide advanced clinical and administrative responsibilities within clinical nutrition in addition to managing the comprehensive medical nutritional care of patients which includes providing nutrition assessment, development of nutrition care plans, diet modification, nutrition education, and all activities involved in the nutritional needs of the patient population.
Education Per Diem Position Schedule will be Per Diem coverage for Tuesday-Friday, 8a-4:30pm. Availability to train consistently Tuesday-Friday for first 30-60 days until proficient in practice process. This position requires extensive knowledge in the treatment of obesity and the use of behavioral modalities to effect change. ensure optimum patient care, efficient operations, quality service, and sound financial management of preoperative and postoperative bariatric surgery patients at NWH Center for Weight Loss Surgery. Working conditions will involve being on site as well as the potential to work remotely and occasional evenings for support group facilitation.
