Position Overview

The Security Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for the overall management and performance of security operations at their assigned construction project site. This includes

supervision of all assigned security personnel, ensuring compliance with company and client standards, and maintaining strong working relationships with client representatives.

The SPM ensures operational excellence, adherence to safety requirements, and consistent delivery of professional and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Oversight & Leadership

* Supervise and manage all assigned security staff, ensuring adherence to FCS policies, procedures, and client expectations.

* Maintain 100% post coverage through effective scheduling and staffing management.

* Monitor overtime levels and implement strategies to maintain profitability within contract guidelines.

* Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for Supervisors and Officers.

* Conduct daily and weekly post inspections, safety checks, and compliance reviews.

* Ensure all officers receive proper onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training.

* Track expirations of required licensures (DPSST/CPR) and ensure compliance.

* Address HR issues and concerns timely such as PRD's, PTO, complaints, etc.

Client Relationship Management

* Serve as the primary point of contact for all client-related communication and

operational matters.

* Foster strong, professional relationships with site management and client representatives.

* Attend and participate in client safety meetings, briefings, and planning sessions as required.

* Promptly address client concerns and ensure timely follow-up to maintain satisfaction and trust.

Operational Coordination

* Develop, manage, and maintain operational schedules to ensure effective site coverage and staffing efficiency.

* Oversee daily reporting of hours, attendance, and site documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

* Track and report fuel usage for lighting, surveillance, and other security assets as required.

* Perform camera system checks and coordinate maintenance or service needs.

* Coordinate with vendors for delivery, service, or relocation of security equipment and resources.

* Support planning for mobilization, expansion, or demobilization of project security operations.

Administrative & Compliance Duties

* Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and company policies.

* Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports summarizing staffing, incidents, and operational metrics.

* Conduct quarterly post assessments and submit vulnerability or improvement reports within established timelines.

* Ensure all officer training, certifications, and licensing remain current and in compliance with requirements.

* Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 certification (paid for by FCS).

Decision-Making Authority

* Adjust staffing schedules within approved budgets to maintain operational efficiency.

* Initiate corrective or disciplinary actions when required and document performance related matters.

* Approve small operational or fuel-related purchases within assigned spending limits.

* Escalate major expenditures, contract adjustments, or policy concerns to the Senior Security Project Manager or Regional Director.



Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelors Degree

Associates Degree
