FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Variable Position Overview: Acute Care General Surgery coverage for two hospitals located approximately 10 miles apart in South King County: Auburn Medical Center (AMC) is a Level 3 Trauma Center Covington Medical Center (CMC) is a community hospital Details: Schedule :188 daytime shifts per year, split between the two hospitals Daytime shifts will be at one hospital at a time 10 Hour Day Shifts 61 nights (14 Hours) of at home call coverage per year Call coverage will cover AMC fully and CMC by phone only 30 minute response time to AMC required for trauma activations Minimal clinic responsibilities 2 + years post residency is preferred DaVinci Xi robots may be available for acute care cases Ideal candidate must be comfortable operating on cases independently What We Have to Offer Competitive compensation: Attractive salary with potential sign-on and relocation. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $490,000.00 - $490,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
