Position Summary

The Lab Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the laboratory courier team. This individual is responsible for coordinating courier routes, managing daily workflows, and overseeing the maintenance of the fleet. The Lab Logistics Coordinator will also provide critical administrative support to the courier team and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of lab supply needs. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Courier Routes: Plan and schedule courier routes to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of laboratory materials, specimens, and supplies

  • Customer Service: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding logistics, deliveries, and courier-related inquiries. Address and resolve any logistical issues or customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Fleet Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of courier vehicles, ensuring they are operational, clean, and compliant with all safety regulations.

  • Supply Fulfillment: Track and fulfill the laboratory's supply needs, ensuring necessary materials are available for daily operations. Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of supplies.

Requirments:

  • Associate degree or 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

  • Valid Washington State Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.58 - $35.36 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
