Overview

NV5 Geospatial is actively recruiting a Cloud Web Developer. Strong capabilities in designing, developing, and maintaining modern, secure cloud-based web applications are required. The developer will be located remotely and will support US Southern Command. US citizenship, along with the ability to successfully pass a basic background check for access to US military bases, is required for employment. A TS/SCI clearance is desirable.

Work Setting:

    This role offers flexibility in location, with the option to work from any NV5 Regional Office or remotely from home.
  • Potential travel up to 15-20% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize secure, cloud-based web applications that integrate with geospatial, data analytics, and AI/ML services.
  • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP and DoD Impact Level (IL) security requirements, implementing robust authentication and encryption measures.
  • Integrate API-driven solutions that enhance data interoperability and accessibility for end users.
  • Develop and maintain web-based dashboards for data visualization, ensuring real-time analytics capabilities.


Qualifications

Minimum Requriements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in cloud-based web development.
  • Demonstrated experience developing secure web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
  • API development with REST and GraphQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including serverless architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize complex project tasks.

Preferred:

  • AWS Certified Developer, AI Associate, or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate
  • Portuguese or Spanish language skills.
  • Active TC/SCI.
  • Experience with government IT programs and environments.

Clearance Requirement:

  • None required; US Government Secret or TS/SCI preferred
