Responsibilities



  • Optimize all activities related to order fulfillment, from forecast to delivery, including day to day key KPI's for materials management for plant.


  • Coordinate all activities with the plants necessary for maintaining accurate inventory levels for production scheduling while achieving corporate targets/goals.


  • Define, develop and deploy weekly KPI metrics.


  • Establish inventory entitlement models for each plant.


  • Establishment and validation of annual Inventory budgeting.


  • Inventory accuracy to plan tracking.


  • Ensure optimal inventory planning in line with Order fulfillment.


  • Define Cycle Count requirements leading to integration into SAP.


  • Align Operations and Materials with the Supply Chain team.


  • Premium Freight: establish Root Cause, resolution process and authorization.


  • Continuous Improvement: generate Material Cost Saving opportunities and implement with cross functional teams.


  • Work with plants to establish load audit tracking for outbound deliveries to ensure full truck utilization.



Qualifications



  • 5+ Years of Material Management experience and success.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required: BS degree preferred


  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience


  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Must possess excellent planning/organization, analytical and problem solving skills.


  • Ability to work independently; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.


  • Working knowledge or ERP Systems (SAP).
