Temporary Assignment!!! Approximately 2 months
Duties and Responsibilities
* Sort, organize, and pack books and library materials according to established guidelines * Ensure books are handled carefully to prevent damage during packing and shipment * Label boxes accurately with required shipment and inventory information * Prepare boxes for transport, including sealing, stacking, and staging for pickup * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Follow safety procedures for lifting, packing, and material handling * Communicate with supervisors regarding packing progress or any issues * Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of two years warehousing experience.
* Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a top priority.
* Must share a commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment while simultaneously optimizing individual performance and contribution.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
* Ability to operate material handling equipment
* Capable of lifting packages weighing up to 70 pounds
* Ability to stoop, bend, push and pull
* Must possess basic computer literacy skills
* The work of this position is performed in an indoor and outdoor environment

Terms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
* Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions
* Must be able to successfully complete a background screening
* Must possess or be able to obtain a public trust clearance prior to employment and maintain public trust clearance for the duration of employment

Rate of Pay/Benefits
Internal Hire Hourly Rate: $33.86
External Hire Hourly Rate: $25.40
*CBA states new hires hourly rate will be calculated at 75% for the 12 months of employment.
