Job Summary

The Janitor at TD SYNNEX Corporation is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all employees and visitors. This role is crucial in ensuring a professional and healthy workspace.

Shift 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm

$20/hr.

Job Responsibilities

* Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mo mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of offices, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
* Empty and clean waste receptacles and dispose of trash in designated areas.
* Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and replenishing supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
* Clean and maintain break room areas, including wiping down counters, tables, and appliances.
* Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
* Respond to and clean up spills and other urgent cleaning needs promptly.
* Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and report needs to management.
* Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
* Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Assist with setting up and taking down for company events as needed.
* Perform minor maintenance tasks as instructed, such as changing light bulbs.

Job Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Proven experience as a janitor, custodian, or similar role.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies and safe handling procedures.
* Familiarity with operating cleaning equipment.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods.
* Reliable and punctual.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues and management.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
