As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Lobby in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for staff, members, and visitors.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed based on incidents occurring at the location.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and potential security-related concerns specific to financial institutions, such as suspicious behavior or unauthorized transactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
