Description

The Senior Physician Recruiter has primary accountability for full-cycle recruitment and the onboarding journey of physicians and advanced practitioner candidates for the medical group. The Senior Recruiter will be a first point of contact for all candidates, acting as a liaison between the local administrative hiring team and our recruitment partners to ensure the candidates move through the process in a timely manner, while using a concierge approach. The Senior Recruiter also serves as a consultant and expert in medical group compensation models, have familiarity with each medical group's Physician Services Agreement (PSA) and understand how to navigate the complexity of the construct and relationship between the medical group as its own legal entity and Providence's Southern California Medical Foundations. As an expert in the compensation models, the Senior Recruiter will work closely with Medical Foundation/Medical Group Finance and system-level compensation teams to ensure Fair Market Value (FMV) is achieved and compliant with all extended offers. The Senior Recruiter will engage in the development of all physician contracts including new employment agreements, medical directorship contracts, and will continue to support the physicians in the development of shareholder contracts, once a physician is board approved. Additionally, the Senior Recruiter will engage and serve as a point of contact and assist in the facilitation of all separation agreements, both voluntary and involuntary, in partnership with the medical groups.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent educ/experience
  • 3 years related recruitment experience.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing resumes against job requirements, interviewing candidates against qualifications and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Proven success having sourced candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and other programs.
  • Experience recruiting for other highly skilled positions with limited talent pool (i.e. physician, executive, healthcare, IT, engineering, etc.).


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 5 years recruitment experience.
  • Experience consulting with executives and leadership on compensation/offers, market trends, sourcing challenges, candidate interviewing, and recruiting process expectations, accountabilities and service level.
  • Experience using CRM and ATS.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
