Order Processing Specialist

Acara Solutions is seeking an Order Processing Specialist to join our client in Buffalo, NY!

This role is the first point of contact for all internal business units, supporting order entry, processing, and resolution of complex customer requests. The ideal candidate has an industrial background, is analytical, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role will works with the Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouse department to ensure customers' needs and company goals are met.

Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM, 100% onsite

Pay: Up to 26/HR

Key Responsibilities:

• Use Freshservice to receive, input, track, and resolve customer requests
• Use automation and workflows to ensure tickets are handled efficiently
• Communicate clearly and provide support to keep customers satisfied
• Review and process orders accurately to prevent errors and delays
• Provide excellent service to internal customers and guide them through processes
• Adapt to changing processes and help improve order management workflows
• Handle escalations like credit requests, discounts, mispicks, or technical issues, working with other teams as needed
• Track order volume, requests, and performance

• High school or equivalency; Associates degree in Business, Communications or equivalent, preferred
• Previous customer service, inside sales, or administrative/clerical experience preferred
• Ability to use MS-Office, MS-Outlook, and ERP business systems

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or operational settings is preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems and order management processes is a plus
