RN, Registered Nurse | Radiation Oncology

Location: East Building, Main Campus, La Crosse, WI
FTE: Full-Time | 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per two weeks

Schedule: 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM | No weekends, holidays, or on-call obligations

Your Opportunity

Join Gundersen Health System's Comprehensive Cancer Center as a Registered Nurse supporting Radiation Oncology. This is your chance to work day shifts while making a meaningful impact in the beautiful Coulee Region.

What You Will Do

  • Provide direct patient care including:

    • Initiating IV therapies

    • Assisting with procedures

    • Performing wound care and assessments

    • Delivering patient and family education

    • Managing telephone triage and inbasket messaging

  • Collaborate within a cohesive team of 3 RNs, 3 MAs, and 6 clinicians

What You Need

  • Education: Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing

  • Licensure: RN license in Wisconsin upon hire

  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

  • Preferred: 2+ years RN experience and wound care knowledge
