This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Greenwich Drive and remote. Onsite 3 days per week.

DESCRIPTION

Project Manager assigned to projects within the Strategy Office's portfolio. Facilitates development, communication and support of projects among multiple functional teams to successfully implement new programs. Lead project development, including managing timelines, milestones, action items and project materials. Manages multiple tasks and deliverables accurately and within required time commitments. Identifies and gathers key data / information for the development of appropriate metrics and measures and produces historical and predictive analysis. Assists in the design and preparation of project presentations for Executive leadership including but not limited to the CEO, CFO, Chief Strategy Officer and the UC Office of the President.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training. Related experience: Leading the development of projects across multiple teams within an healthcare environment.

  • Thorough knowledge of business development concepts, practices and functions including health care research resources.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills to perform complex market and financial analysis.

  • Advanced problem solving skills to assess complex issues and develop solutions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and effectively with multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communications skills including an ability to positively interact with executives, providers and staff at all levels.

  • Ability to develop comprehensive reports and presentations.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software and database applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in healthcare environment.

  • Technical project management experience.

  • Executive level presentation skills.

  • UCSD Fellow experience.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $97,200 - $182,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $46.55 - $87.16

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
