Job Description

RR Donnelley is looking for a Global Operations Records Manager in New York City!

The Global Operations Recods Manager is accountable for the overall delivery and continuous improvement of Records Management services across Physical Records, Electronic Archives, and Shred Services. This role focuses on operational ownership, consistent service delivery, and people leadership.

Working closely with Records Management Global Heads and Regional Leads, this role supports compliance, risk mitigation, and operational alignment. The Global Operations Records Manager provides directions on day-to-day operations and contributes to the evolution of services through informed use of enabling technologies, automation, and scalable operation practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct daily Records Management operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to firm standards
  • Manage electronic archives operations, including platforms, workflows, controls, and operations dependencies
  • Evaluate existing workflows and partner with internal teams and vendors to implement efficiency improvements, including automation and AI-enabled solutions
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution
  • Manage vendor relationships and onsite/offshore teams, establishing clear expectations and accountability
  • Coordinate execution of global and regional initiatives, tracking deliverables, timelines, and risks through completion
  • Review operational performance and reporting, identifying trends, risks and correct actions
  • Lead regular business reviews focused on service quality, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with stakeholders and service partners
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet commitments and manage competing priorities

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and support onsite and offshore team members
  • Conduct performance management activities, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning
  • Support onboarding, training, scheduling, and coverage planning to ensure operational continuity
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability, integrity, strong work ethic, and service excellence
  • Maintain clear role ownership and knowledge coverage across the team

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in discipline related to functional role
  • Experience leading operational teams in a service delivery or client-facing environment
  • Working knowledge of operational technologies and platforms that support information management, digital workflows, or service delivery environments
  • Familiarity with automation and emerging technologies (including AI-enabled tools) as applied to operational efficiency, reporting, and risk mitigation
  • Ability to partner effectively with technology, data, and vendor teams to evaluate and improve systems and

    tools
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, execute, and resolve issues promptly
  • Strong problem solving and reasoning skills
  • High degree of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Records Management experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $90,800-145,400/ year. The salary range may be adjusted

based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the

future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and

compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency,

performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation

package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit

offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with

company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental

leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
