We are looking for a strategic Business Development Manager located in Odessa, TX. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.

This role is accountable for developing and executing the sales and growth strategy for Fluids Assist Systems (FAS) within the Production Systems portfolio, driving sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and customer value. The Business Development Manager partners closely with commercial, operations, and technical teams to identify opportunities, position differentiated solutions and accelerate business performance across targeted markets.

What you will do:

  • Drive new business growth for the Fluids Assist Systems (FAS) portfolio, including PAGL, Plunger Lift, and Jet Lift solutions, aligned to customer production performance objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of SLB's sales and growth strategy, including demand forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Identify, build, and maintain strategic relationships with key operators, developing and executing strategic account plans to expand market share and long-term value.
  • Work closely with all customers to understand business needs and recommend solutions that assist the customer in meeting their productivity objectives; listen, understand, and convey customer requirements.
  • Partner with Customer Success team to deliver technical presentation that provide solutions to targeted customers through gas lift automation solutions.
  • Maintain working knowledge of automation software trends, business market trends, and competing technologies, as well as market lead pricing propositions for designated areas.
  • Advise and consult with internal business partners on business development initiatives and plans.
  • Participate in the regional leadership meetings, present business development plans, updates, and reports to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 yrs experience in a sales manager, business development or sales engineer role
  • Strong sales network within oil and gas with a proven success in acquiring new customers
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to develop sales strategies, analytical and implementation skills
  • Ability and willingness to get into detail to resolve problems
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company
  • Availability to travel within the US as required up to 50%
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field

  • Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
  • Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
