About the Role

We are looking for a full-time AI Engineer to join our AI team and help build next-generation AI solutions, tools, and infrastructure across Software and Firmware teams. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone early in their career who has strong academic foundations, AI/ML project experience, and internships involving AI/ML, computer engineering, or system performance optimization.

You will work on applied AI systems such as RAG workflows, multi-agent pipelines, inference acceleration, AI infrastructure, and hardware/software co-design.

Key Responsibilities

AI/ML Engineering

• Develop and evaluate ML models - including LLM-based, multimodal, classical ML approaches.

• Build components of RAG systems, multi-agent workflows, and applied AI pipelines.

• Implement preprocessing, feature extraction, vectorization, semantic search, and model evaluation tools.

AI Systems & Platform Development

• Contribute to internal AI platforms for model serving, acceleration, and orchestration.

• Integrate AI workloads into scalable pipelines on GPUs and distributed systems.

• Support adoption of AI capabilities across internal teams through tools, APIs, and automation.

Performance & Optimization

• Profile and optimize AI workloads using CPU, GPU, and hardware acceleration techniques.

• Assist in evaluating inference latency, throughput, and efficiency across hardware/software stacks.

• Apply knowledge of computer architecture to improve model execution and utilization.

Software Engineering

• Write production-quality code in Python, C/C++, and supporting languages.

• Build internal tools, pipelines, APIs, and services that make AI easier to use across teams.

• Collaborate closely with data, infrastructure, and product partners.

Applied Research & Innovation

• Stay current on new AI techniques, including retrieval, agentic workflows, compression, distillation.

• Prototype concepts quickly and transition successful prototypes into production-ready solutions.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

- Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++.

- Hands-on project or experience in at least one of the following:

• RAG systems, LLMs, language model pipelines

• GPU programming, CUDA, or hardware-accelerated ML

• OCR/computer vision, multimodal AI, or NLP

• Performance profiling of AI workloads

• IoT + AI embedded systems

- Solid understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and algorithms.

- Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
