Description High-Tech Per Diem Field RNs & LPNs AccordCare Broward County, FL Pay Rate: RN: $45-$65/hr LPN: $35-$40/hr Job Description AccordCare is a licensed agency seeking experienced High-Tech Per Diem Field RNs and LPNs to provide skilled care throughout Broward County. We are hiring RNs and LPNs for high-tech care visits, including patients requiring: Ventilator/Trach care PEG tube management Wound care IV therapy Experience with Paraplegic, Quadriplegic, and TBI care is a plus. Position Summary The RN or LPN provides the highest quality of care to patients in accordance with their Plan of Care, ensuring patient safety, well-being, and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Bilingual Spanish/English preferred Travel throughout Broward County, outside of Coral Springs as needed Provide safe and effective personal care based on the individualized Plan of Care Transport clients to and from appointments/activities safely as requested Communicate promptly with Nurse Supervisor regarding changes in patient condition or emergencies Deliver skilled nursing and personal care within scope of practice, including: Medication administration Transferring and positioning Catheter care Communication with client, family, and Nursing Supervisor Occasionally perform client assessments and supervisory visits Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, attention to detail, and strong follow-through Anticipate potential issues and appropriately escalate or resolve concerns Prioritize tasks and respond with a sense of urgency Required Experience & Education Active Florida RN or LPN license CPR Certification Current Level 2 Background Screening in the AHCA Clearinghouse TB test within the last 12 months or Chest X-ray within the last 5 years HIV and DOEA Alzheimer's training certificates (CEUs) Prior home care experience Excellent communication, teamwork, collaboration, and customer service skills Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and care coordination Join a team that values excellence and flexibility!
