Warehouse Receiving Supervisor

The Receiving Supervisor oversees assigned aspects of Distribution Center/Warehouse operations in providing commissary operations and services to assigned locations.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Supervisor experience required
• Basic understanding of Microsoft outlook and excel
• Overseeing daily operations within receiving
• Coordinating the dock schedule
• Data entry into the WMS using RF Device
• Training and mentoring receiving clerks
• Enforcing OSHA safety protocols and warehouse policies
• Coordinating with other departments to prioritize orders and report discrepancies.

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid driver's license.

• Forklift Certification.

• Warehouse managerial or supervisory experience preferred.

• Requires strong supervisory skills: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to work in a correctional environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to define problems and resolve them quickly.
• Familiarity with inventory management.
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs).
• Strong organizational skills.
