The Corporate Supply Chain Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Associate Contract Support Analyst - Culinary and Nutrition

The Associate Contract Support Analyst supports the sourcing and contract management activities for commodities, equipment, and services within the Culinary and Nutrition category. Working under direct supervision, this role assists in executing contracts, monitoring compliance, supporting vendor relationships, and helping ensure alignment with internal policies and UHS Legal specifications.
This entry-level position collaborates closely with Value Analysis Program Directors, facility teams, and key stakeholders across Acute Care and Behavioral Health facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

Vendor Support & Coordination:

  • Assists in monitoring vendor adherence to contract terms and conditions.
  • Collects and organizes data related to rebates, incentives, and supplier performance.
  • Supports the review of contract components to identify potential costsaving opportunities.
  • Helps gather information for new or updated contract terms.
  • Participates in processimprovement activities related to contracting and compliance.
  • Supports preparation of materials for vendor business reviews.

Contract Execution & Compliance:

  • Helps track facility compliance with key agreements, including beverage and foodservice programs.
  • Assists in preparing and distributing monthly usage and compliance reports.
  • Supports communication between facilities and suppliers regarding installations, problem resolution, and business needs.
  • Aids in implementing completed agreements across facilities.
  • Helps identify and escalate discrepancies in pricing, participation, or rebate funding

Product, Equipment & Services Research:

  • Maintains awareness of relevant product categories and emerging technologies in the culinary and nutrition space.
  • Assists in gathering information on alternative products, equipment options, and supplier offerings.
  • Supports evaluation of group purchasing contracts to ensure UHS receives competitive pricing and terms.
  • Helps coordinate vendor-led equipment demonstrations or upgrades when needed.

Financial & Savings Reporting:

  • Collects and organizes data to support costsavings documentation and financial analyses.
  • Assists in verifying that facilities are being charged according to contract terms and flags deviations for review.
  • Contributes to costcontainment efforts by comparing pricing, terms, discounts, and service levels.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 0-1 year of experience in supply chain, contracting, finance, procurement, or related field (internships acceptable).
  • Interest in foodservice, culinary operations, or nutrition programs preferred.
  • Basic understanding of contract administration concepts or willingness to learn.
  • Strong analytical and dataorganization skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and common business applications; familiarity with databases or supplychain systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to develop professionally.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%.
