As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol in Laredo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols in a dynamic retail environment. This driving and armed post involves staying visible to support a secure atmosphere, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Remain alert and observant while interacting with the public, employees, and visitors at the location.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities while on duty.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during critical situations.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to clients and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for Texas only.
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
