Software Engineer Senior Technical Specialist

Are you interested in physics-based modeling/simulation and algorithm and software development? What if you could apply your software expertise, orbit knowledge and problem-solving skills to help develop and enhance GEOINT future architecture modeling tools. That's why our GEOINT modeling and analysis team is looking for you.

In this position you will:

• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing GEOINT analysis tools.
• Develop complex algorithms to model future GEOINT systems
• Conduct verification and regression testing of software modifications
• Coordinate software updates with internal team members
• Investigate and solve software discrepancies

Required:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 12-15 years' experience: MS 10-13 years or PhD 10+ years
• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a Poly
• Expertise in C++ and Fortran software languages
• Demonstrated experience coding complex algorithms
• Proven problem-solving capability
• Knowledge of GEOINT systems and orbital mechanics
• Experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis

Desired:

• Experience in UNIX operating environment
• Familiarity with Perl, Python and other languages
