As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the education environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required, and helping to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Collaborate with campus staff and local law enforcement as necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a welcoming environment for the campus community.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
