Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a self-motivated, high performing Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide world-class nutrition care for our inpatient population. This role is full-time Day Shift (40 hrs/week) Monday- Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:



  • The Registered Dietitian provides safe and therapeutic nutritional care in a comprehensive and systematic manner.
  • Provides clinical services and acts as a resource to physicians, nurses and other professional healthcare team members, to provide patients with optimum nutritional care.
  • Coordinates the nutrition care plan with the physician and other healthcare providers while serving as a resource in the integration of the nutrition care plan into the comprehensive plan of care for the patient.
  • Formulates an individualized nutrition plan of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Education: Master's degree if degree was completed after 1/1/2024
  • Experience: Dietetic internship or equivalent
  • Certification:

    • Registered Dietitian (RD) required upon start
    • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required within 3 Months of hire



Preferred qualifications:



  • Inpatient experience
