Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Sr. Program Administrator Supervisor for The Institute for Families (
IFF) at the Rutgers University School of Social Work. This position reports to the Manager of Learning and Development.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Provides subject matter expertise and technical knowledge to support the development of learning products and educational materials for the early care and learning workforce.
- Ensures that training sessions, curricula, reports, infographics, and other educational materials developed for the Institute's early childhood Initiatives are inclusive of developmentally appropriate, evidence-based, and culturally responsive practices in early childhood.
- Contributes to a team that includes instructional designers, subject matter experts, program partners, and stakeholders dedicated to high-quality content, learner-centered materials, and strong engagement of early childhood professionals in various roles.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least five (5) years of related experience in the education or early childhood education field, or relevant professional experience and strong knowledge of early and school-age child development.

- A valid driver's license would be required for this position.

| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, instructional technology, communication, or a related educational field, and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and their applications, as well as emerging instructional technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills and the ability to work with staff from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
- Ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact and the ability to escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Ability to assist with the facilitation of learning needs assessment tasks and present instructional materials to internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience, and establish cooperative working relationships with staff, clients, and subject matter experts.
- Ability to work within various learning management systems.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Knowledge of requirements related to instructional technology for ADA compliance and familiarity with the boundaries of copyright and Fair Use guidelines.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- At least seven years' experience in an early childhood education field.
- Experience with instructional technology, including rapid development tools.
