Job Summary: We are seeking a temporary warehouse support worker to assist with day-to-day warehouse operations. This position will help manage increased workload by supporting activities such as put-aways, material handling, and internal part movements. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, be comfortable operating a forklift, and be familiar with SAP or similar inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities: * Perform put-aways: move received materials into appropriate storage locations * Locate parts in the warehouse using inventory references or physical characteristics * Move parts and materials between areas as needed to support work orders or production * Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently * Assist with banding and wrapping pallets for external operations. * Transport raw materials to/from the yard * Identify and label parts (including verifying heat numbers, measuring, and counting stock) * Operate forklifts and magnetic cranes as needed for unloading or order prep * Follow all safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the work area * Support warehouse team as directed by supervisor Qualifications: * 1+ year of warehouse experience required * SAP or ERP system experience preferred * Forklift certification or proven forklift experience required * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods * Strong attention to detail and safety awareness * Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
