Overview

We are seeking our new SEO Marketing Specialist to join the Axway team!

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven SEO Manager to lead our search engine optimization strategy and drive sustainable organic growth. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing SEO initiatives that improve visibility, traffic, and conversions across our digital properties.

You will collaborate closely with content, product, field, web, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across our digital channels.



Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution

    Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities across all stages of the funnel.
  • Create SEO roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.

On-Page Optimization

  • Optimize web copy, meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, content structure, and internal linking.
  • Provide SEO guidelines for new content and collaborate with writers and designers to ensure alignment with search intent.
  • Oversee content audits and identify pages for improvement or consolidation.

Technical SEO

  • Conduct regular technical audits to ensure crawlability, indexability, and overall site health.
  • Work with developers to implement improvements related to page speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile experience.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement structured data and schema markup.
  • Monitor site performance and resolve issues such as broken links, redirects, duplicate content and sitemap problems.

Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

  • Manage backlink acquisition strategies and digital PR efforts.
  • Monitor and maintain a healthy backlink profile using SEO tools.
  • Evaluate partnership and outreach opportunities to strengthen domain authority.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze SEO KPIs, including rankings, organic traffic, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • In collaboration with the Business Analyst, create monthly/quarterly performance reports for stakeholders.
  • Use insights to refine strategies and identify new growth opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with content, product, field, and marketing teams to support campaigns and launches.
  • Collaborate with content writers to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
  • Work with developers on SEO improvements, website redesigns, and site migrations.
  • Provide SEO training and best practices to internal teams when needed.


Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an in-house or agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
  • Experience with enterprise SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to communicate complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager).
  • Experience working with developers and product teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and always up-to-date with SEO trends and algorithm changes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
