Coho Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Management Analystto support senior leadership and project offices within a Department of Defense environment at the Pentagon. This role provides critical program management, analytical, and operational support, managing multiple taskings from higher headquarters while driving process improvements, coordinating staff actions, and delivering high-quality analytical products to senior DoD and Army leaders.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):



  • Manage and prioritize multiple taskings from higher headquarters, ensuring timely, accurate, and coordinated responses.
  • Provide day-to-day support to a Project Office, contributing to effective program execution and operational excellence.
  • Capture, track, coordinate, disseminate, and submit suspense actions from higher HQ; monitor and manage internal directives and action items.
  • Prepare, analyze, and manage large volumes of information using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, including reports, dashboards, briefings, and schedules.
  • Develop and deliver senior-leader briefings and data-driven presentations for DoD and Army leadership.
  • Conduct detailed research, analysis, and product development related to manpower studies, organizational reviews, and restructuring initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support to identify and evaluate alternative organizational and management structures applicable to SPD entities.
  • Produce executive summaries, case studies, and briefings outlining findings and recommendations upon completion of studies or analytical efforts.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, identifying efficiencies, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Coordinate across internal teams, government stakeholders, and contractors to ensure unity of effort and alignment with program objectives.
  • Apply working knowledge of government contracting, budgeting, cost, and logistics to support program and operational requirements.


Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Clearance:


    • Secret



  • Education and Certification:


    • Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
    • Project Management Institute - Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or equivalent (e.g., Master's degree in Business Analytics).



  • Experience:


    • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience supporting a defense agency's technology development or operational program, including:


      • Establishing strong working relationships with contractors and multiple government agencies.
      • Analyzing operational benefits of military systems and translating technical improvements into mission enhancements.
      • Tracking program efforts to identify emerging issues, risks, and opportunities.
      • Innovating and rapidly implementing effective solutions in dynamic environments.
      • Developing innovative approaches to technology transfer.
      • Organizing and facilitating technical and program meetings.
      • Providing coordinated, timely responses to taskings while independently reprioritizing as requirements evolve.
