The newly established Organizational Effectiveness Center of Excellence (COE) supports enterprise-wide initiatives by strengthening communication, improving organizational alignment, and enabling consistent adoption of key initiatives across the business units and functions in order to maintain a collaborative, high performing culture. We are seeking a Communications & Organizational Effectiveness professional who excels at storytelling, coordination and planning, and execution ensuring messages, initiatives, and change activities land clearly, consistently, and effectively across the Company.

This role manages and develops enterprise messaging, executes communication plans, and supports organizational effectiveness projects, and ensures programs are understood and adopted across all business units and functions. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong influence, cross-functional partnership, and the ability to connect strategic objectives to clear and actionable communication.

This position works under the direction of the Senior VP, Organizational Effectiveness.

Detailed Description:

  • Develop and execute communication plans that support enterprise initiatives, organizational changes, key programs, and operational updates to drive comprehension and adoption across the organization.

  • Create clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content, including presentations, talking points, FAQs, email communications, leadership messages, toolkits, and change-ready materials.

  • Ensure communication alignment by partnering closely with key leaders, including HR leadership, COEs, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners.

  • Plan, organize, and manage organizational effectiveness projects, including change management efforts, process updates, and other strategic initiatives (e.g. intranet and company related apps).

  • Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure on-time execution.

  • Build communication templates, standards, and communication governance tools to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalable communication practices.

  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions, clarify expectations, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption of key initiatives.

  • Support change management activities by identifying stakeholder impacts, preparing communication strategies, and enabling leader readiness.

  • Integrate cultural elements into project planning to ensure communication and change management activities uphold the Company's cultural standards and expectations.

  • Manage vendor relationships to support communication tools, platforms, or project execution needs.

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee the enterprise HR calendar, ensuring alignment of key activities such as budgeting cycles, workforce planning, talent reviews, compliance deadlines, and other strategic initiatives. Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to coordinate timing, avoid conflicts, and provide transparency across the organization.

  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of Organizational Effectiveness and enterprise communication needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive information.

  • Strong experience in developing and delivering clear, engaging, and audience-focused communications across multiple channels and stakeholder groups.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring strong organization, prioritization, and execution.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy, culture, and organizational changes into clear messaging and practical actions.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials (presentations, briefings, talking points).

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate needs, identify risks, and propose solutions.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) in order to analyze data and determine trends and anomalies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Organizational Development, Business, Human Resources or other related field of study.

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, organizational effectiveness, change management or a similar role supporting enterprise initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or change management certification (e.g., Proske).

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or a large, multi-entity operational environment.

Additional Details:

Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment. Occasional travel to other Company offices and worksites often in remote locations, is required during normal operating conditions while wearing designated personal protective equipment (PPE).
