What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail environment.
• Perform regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate security-related protocols.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity within the retail premises.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or customers, providing assistance as needed while upholding site-specific security-related standards.
• Carry and responsibly handle a company-issued firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and/or daily activities as directed by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
