The Library Coordinator manages and supports Creighton University Libraries (CUL) operations on the Phoenix campus. Reporting to the Head of Access Services and Operations, and working closely with CUL's Administrative Assistant and Phoenix-based librarians, the Library Coordinator: supervises the Phoenix library space; assists patrons with library materials and technologies; provides administrative support; and assists with special projects and liaises with campus partners such as the Center for Faculty Excellence and IT.

Essential Functions:

Supervises the library suite in Phoenix and assists patrons with the circulation of materials as well as the use of library systems, maker technologies such as 3-D printing, and emerging technologies such as AI and VR.

Provides administrative support for library operations, communication, events, outreach.

Assists in special projects in collaboration and coordination with campus partners, including campus leads in academic and student affairs.

Serves as the Phoenix campus liaison for CFE and with IT.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

6 years administrative experience required.

Education or background in communications or marketing preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Highly proficient using business software, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Comfortable with learning new technologies and digital literacies

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong human relations skills, ability to work collaboratively
