| Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
Student Affairs at the Gillings School of Global Public Health provides an array of services and resources to prospective, admitted and current students. We aim to enhance student development by providing a supportive and safe environment in which you can achieve academic, social and professional success.
We coordinate major schoolwide programs such as orientations, a student activities fair, a career and internship fair and professional development workshops. We work to recruit excellent students; coordinate diversity outreach programs to expose high school, undergraduate students and professionals to the field of public health; and offer career services for current students and recent alumni. |
| Position Summary |
The Department of Health Behavior seeks accomplished and talented candidate(s) to review applications for the departments PhD degree programs. Selected candidate(s) will attend orientation in December 2025, participate in regular admissions committee meetings, and review approximately 20-40 applications for the upcoming academic year cycle. The goal of this position is to help the Admissions Committee make a more informed decision regarding potential applicants for programs. The reviewer will complete a detailed evaluation form for each applicant and provide recommendations to the Admissions Committee based on the applicant's qualifications. This position is likely to be based in a tele-working environment (i.e. home office), and will attend a one-day on-site admissions meeting at
UNC. |

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |

| Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
