Project Manager The Project Manager leads, directs, and mentors a diverse technical team in the delivery of Command, Control, Communications, Cyber, and Collaboration IT services supporting operations of the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) and subordinate organizations.*****The JECC is an operationally focused joint staff; its mission requirements are dynamic, urgent, complex with a high operations tempo. ***** The PM interfaces directly with the JECC J6 and Government leads to establish support priorities and adjust team member day-to-day duties to meet customer expectations. The PM serves as the team's primary technical lead, providing technical judgement and advice to Government leads, and delivers hands-on guidance, direct involvement in day-to-day customer support activities, and active oversight of all technical operations to ensure responsive, mission-aligned service delivery. Responsibilities: * Direct project team delivering diverse IT services to support in-garrison and deployed operations, in a high tempo environment. Broad service areas include Help Desk, End User Support, IT Asset Management, User Account/Permission Management, SIPRNet Hardware Token Support, Integrated Electronic Security Systems (IESS) Sustainment, Facilities Video Security Systems, Communications Security (COMSEC) and Electronic Key Management Systems (EKMS) Support Services, Video Teleconference (VTC) Support Services, Legacy and Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) Telecommunications, Wireless Voice/Data Telecommunications, Personal Satellite Communications, Network Devices, Controlled Interfaces / Security Devices, System Administration, Desktop/Laptop Systems, Deployment / Loaner Laptop Systems, Exercise Support, SharePoint Development/Administration, Knowledge Management, and Records Management. * Translate Government requirements and priorities into defined support goals, objectives, and timelines and communicate those to the team to align team member duties with the support objectives and goals. * Coordinate and assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed through daily hands-on mentoring and guidance. * Apply Project Management Institute (PMI) and CMMI SVCS 3 methodologies to plan, implement, manage, and report all aspects of project execution to meet cost and schedule requirements. * *****Accomplish management control deliverables such as program progress briefings, metrics and performance summaries, and management plans.***** * Develop project plans, including effective budgets, schedules, and resource allocations aligned with customer support requirements. * Monitor and communicate project status and issues to the Government on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis as required by the contract. * Identify and manage project risks and issues. * Implement quality assurance processes to maintain performance standards and quality of deliverables. * Manage team members including hiring, administration, discipline, mentoring, and professional development. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree * Current TOP SECRET/SCI * 5+ years of experience in project management, leading a diverse technical team. * Extensive experience managing complex, multi-functional IT service delivery. * Hands-on, highly engaged management style; regularly checks in with team members and keeps a pulse on priorities, expectations, and timelines. * DoD and Joint Command experience***** essential for success.***** * Program Management Professional (PMP): Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles. * Exceptional record of successful customer service support. | |
