CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Facilities and Collaboration Senior to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

This position is located at our CLA Charlotte office located in Ballantyne and requires working on-site 5 days a week. The Senior Technical Analyst will take lead on day-to-day technical operations of the Connection Center and users for all conference rooms. In this position you should have the following: passion for AV, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

How you'll create opportunities in this Facilities and Collaboration Senior role:

  • Provide on-site support to our end-users as a Level 2 analyst, ensuring prompt and courteous technical assistance.

  • Ability to independently oversee and run events in a control room for live events in an auditorium setting

  • Oversee the technical aspects of live events

  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are operating at optimum levels prior to events

  • Conduct live on-demand assistance and support for instructors and staff

  • Ensure all event spaces are equipped with necessary technology for all events

  • Coordinate the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for all events

  • Support AV, Conference room technologies and media systems

  • Basic hardware troubleshooting. Example: WIFI, Laptops, and AV equipment.

  • Be able to handle multiple issues and once

  • Work cross functionally with Learning team and other IT technical teams

  • Manage an effective tier 2 support operation for all conferences

  • Assists in maintaining technology inventory according to defined processes

  • Monitor and report system issue appropriately

  • Manage local inventory

  • Pre-event

  • Test and conference room technology

    • Perform daily equipment checks and set ups of classroom and event space technology (Laptop sources, projectors TV's and presentation materials

    • Act as a liaison between Leaning team an technical teams

  • Event Execution

    • Dynamically flex to customer needs and adapt to complications

    • Act as a Point of Contact for customer escalation in event rooms

  • Post-event

    • Resolve an issue

What you will need:

  • 5 years of relevant experience such supporting end-user hardware and software required

  • Minium of 3-5 years of AV Production experience

  • Experience supporting Poly, Tri-Caster's, Crestron AV equipment, and room controls as we Microsoft Teams room devices

  • Understanding of audio, video, and system signal flow

  • Understanding of conferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams, touch panels, projections, displays, and ceiling/table microphones

  • Experience working productions with a large live audience of up to 200 people

  • Must be flexible to work after hours, weekend and travel when required to provide support for shows

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Technical Competencies:

  • Vizrt, Tricaster or similar video switcher experience

  • Midas M32 or similar audio board experience

  • PTZ camera control experience

  • Biamp, Dante, Crestron experience

Hardware: Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals.

Video Systems: Proficiency with projectors, screens, and video conferencing tools.

Software Applications: Familiarity with common software applications and enterprise solutions.

Networking: Understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
