Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Stakeholder Engagement & Education Coordinator, Mid to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The Stakeholder Engagement & Education Coordinator, Mid is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships between healthcare facilities and the community. This role involves coordinating outreach programs, managing community health initiatives, and ensuring that the community's needs and concerns are addressed in the healthcare organization's planning and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop/deliver training and educational resources and materials to aid in ongoing quality improvement and assessor retention
  • Organize, plan and conduct regional forums, townhalls, and other events to promote stakeholder engagement and education
  • Develop/maintain comprehensive web-based resources tailored to specific stakeholders' needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with service providers, supports coordination organizations, advocacy groups and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
  • Collaborate with Quality Manager to design and implement strategic training mentorship, and growth initiatives that drive assessor excellence and skill mastery
  • Manage resources allocated for engagement and educational activities
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies and educational efforts refining approaches as necessary to maximize relevance and impact
  • Participate in new business expansion opportunities and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) as needs dictate
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in special education, social work, psychology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in community engagement, developmental disabilities, or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience as an AAIDD-credentialed SIS-A Trainer or Quality Lead in good standing is required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing multimodal educational strategies, including in-person, virtual and self-paced formats
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data collection, analysis and reporting to evaluate educational and engagement effectiveness
  • Experience in design and implementation of multimodal educational strategies
  • Demonstrated capacity to think strategically and manage complex projects from completion through execution, problem solving along the way
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences4

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree is strongly preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in lieu of 5 years can be substituted
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations
