- As a Supply Chain Business Manager, you will help drive delivery and supplier operational excellence within a global supply chain.
- This role is within the Supply Chain Commodity team and is instrumental in helping Supply Chain navigate through record ramps and other operational complexities that arise.
- In this position, you will help manage global factories and be responsible for multiple suppliers across various commodities.
- Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine needed materials purchases.
- Defines metrics and monitors supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous improvement of suppliers.
- Regularly evaluate quality and performance benchmarks, as well as the risks associated with the preferred supply base selection.
- Continuously working on process improvement to deploy & develop best known methods related to procurement, inventory control (e.g., JIT, Kanban, min/max) & manufacturing strategies.
- Established goals with the supplier to ensure material delivery meets forecasted demand.
- Represents supplier business management on cross-functional commodity teams that focus on supply challenges, and ensures internal/external customer needs are satisfied.
- Collaborates with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex issues, ensuring the on-time delivery of critical materials to support customer and company requirements.
- Develops presentations, white papers, and process flowcharts to support continuous process improvement projects.
- Works with suppliers to monitor product costs, preventing negative Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and supporting cost reduction efforts.
- Drive the improvement of the suppliers' manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing global factories and various commodities
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the use of Microsoft Excel, Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP), or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Supplier management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with scalable and repeatable results.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills - Macros, Pivot Tables, Data Lookup/Indexing, Dashboards.
