The GA State Director will provide overall direction and supervision of the Mobile Crisis, ASD Crisis Homes, Transitional Care Homes and Support Services Programs (Crisis Services) of Benchmark. They will also serve as the senior leader representing Benchmark with state officials, regulators, 988/GCAL, local agencies and the community.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision of the Crisis Services programs for the agency.
- Ensure that Crisis Services' policies and practices meet current regulatory, agency, and quality expectations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the DBHDD to assure contract compliance and achievement of required contractual outcomes.
- Assist in the development of an annual operating budget for Crisis Services within the levels of contractual funding.
- Operate the Crisis Services within the established operational budget guidelines.
- Provide supervision of Crisis Services staff that deliver program related training.
- Develop and/or update crisis-training materials.
- Provide instruction and curricula to staff that conduct the trainings.
- Provide specialized trainings as requested.
- Conduct regular meetings in order to provide updated communications regarding changes to systems, regulations, or strategies.
- Collect and analyze data pertaining to the delivery of Crisis Services as called for in the applicable contract(s) or other data Benchmark Human Services desires to collect.
- Participate in the Director's meeting, Management Rally, Group Home Rally, Trend Analysis meeting, and other meetings as assigned.
- Establish contacts with community leaders in the crisis field including Doctors, Nurses, Psychiatrists, Behavior Consultants, Mental and Behavioral Health Organizations that could assist with enhancing our knowledge or improving our delivery of Crisis Service.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree required in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years supervising mobile crisis services
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Developmental Disabilities field
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role in Developmental Disabilities service delivery
- Current certification in a crisis de-escalation methodology, i.e., CPI
- Meet criteria to maintain professional license (if applicable)
- Valid BLS CPR and basic First Aid certification
- Must be computer literate
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Preferred:
- BCBA, LCSW, LPC or PhD in the state of Georgia
- 5+ years' experience working with individuals with IDD and behavioral health diagnoses and are experiencing a crisis.
- Proven experience as a senior level clinical supervisor or administrator of a human services agency, either public or private.
- 2+ years of post-graduate experience responding to a mental health, substance use, and/or suicide-related crisis, providing supervision during crisis responses.
- Knowledge of and experience accessing community services and resources relevant to social determinants of health
- 1 year of experience working with and supervising peer specialists in the delivery of mental health and/or substance use treatment services
