Could you be our next Staff Pharmacist at Riddle Hospital? This role is located in the Emergency Department/ Med Reconciliation.

* Make an Impact! This role participates in emergency responses within the ED including cardiac arrest and stroke alerts. You would serve as a medication information resource for ED providers and nursing staff, providing guidance on medication selection and dosing. The role also conducts medication reconciliation, prioritizing high risk and complex cases to ensure accurate and complete medication histories.

This position requires the ability to use a respirator as part of the job requirement

Position: Staff Pharmacist -40 hours/week
Shift- Evening Shift- 1:30pm-10pm, weekends per business need/ rotating holiday.

Experience:
1. One year of work in hospital Pharmacy where IV admixtures, automated distribution functions, and clinical counseling were employed is preferred. PGY1- Experience preferred.
2. Work history with good to excellent record in organization, accuracy, quality and quantity of work and attendance is required.

Education:
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
2. Clinical clerkships, residencies and specialties in hospital-oriented environments preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:
A current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required.
Recent graduates and pharmacists eligible for reciprocity will be considered as long as licensure is complete before the end of the 90-day probationary period.
